Rackham Building
The Rackham Building is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to midnight. The building is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The Building is also closed on the following days: Thanksgiving (Thursday and the following Friday), Christmas through New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), and Labor Day.

Space may be requested online or by contacting the Rackham Facilities Office by phone at (734) 764-8572 or e-mail at RackhamScheduling@umich.edu. In your message, please mention the dates you are inquiring about and your contact information. Requests will be responded to in the order in which they are received.
Study Halls
Open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 9:00pm the Rackham Building's study halls are considered by many to be "the best place on campus to study." These rooms are the most elegant spaces on campus dedicated to graduate student use. All of the study halls offer WiFi and were recently upgraded with more power outlets for your laptops and devices. If you have not experienced these rooms, visit the Rackham Building and check them out. Graduate students in Rackham programs may book the 2nd floor West Study Hall South Alcove for study group meetings.
