International Students
The University of Michigan has welcomed international students from the earliest days of its graduate programs. Today, more than 2,400 Rackham students are citizens of more than 90 countries.

New international students can find links to information and resources in the University and Ann Arbor for becoming familiar with their new community and learning where to find answers to questions they may have.
International Connect Welcome Program
All graduate students are welcome to participate in Rackham’s International Connect (I-Connect) Welcome Program. The program offers assistance to incoming international graduate students prior to their arrival in Ann Arbor, then in the Fall semester, it provides opportunities for international and domestic students to socialize and participate in cross-cultural exchange.
