There are many resources on campus to assist those with disabilities and with disability interests. These include Services for Students with Disabilities, the University of Michigan Initiative on Disabilities (UMInDs), the Adaptive Technology Computing Site and Rackham has prepared guides for prospective graduate students and current graduate students.
Rackham School of Graduate Studies worked with the Lambda Graduate Association, the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Faculty Alliance, and the Spectrum Center to develop a directory of LGBT faculty willing to serve as resources for LGBT graduate and professional students. UM Kerberos Login is required.
Rackham Graduate School is sponsoring the production of a series of documentaries about issues in student life. Hear our students talk about: their experiences with depression; attitudes to disabilities; conflicting views about the value of diversity; what has changed since the decision in Brown v. Four major Ph.D. institutions in the state of Michigan have established an Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate Program to advance under-represented minority students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), as well as, the social behavioral and economic science programs (SBE).
