How will I know if I have been offered admission?
If you have not received a letter or e-mail stating that you have or have not been offered admission the program may still be reviewing your application.
- Once the graduate program makes a decision you will be contacted.
- The graduate program will communicate their decision to Rackham.
- Your status on the Web Application status system will remain ‘Applicant’ at this point.
Rackham monitors requirements and procedures and certifies the admission recommendation. Once Rackham receives the recommendation to admit from the program, you will be contacted within 10 business days.
- If the recommendation is approved by Rackham, an e-mail will be sent by Rackham to let you know that admission is offered.
- The Web Application Status system will show a statement of admission, and instructions for responding to the offer of admission.
Non-U.S. Citizens
Non-U.S. Citizens (International Students) who have been offered admission by Rackham will receive their immigration paperwork (I-20 and DS-2019) after they have accepted the offer of admission (stated their intent to enroll) using the Web Application Status system.
- Once we have received all of the required financial information, we will begin the preparation of your I-20 or DS-2019.
- Due to varying lengths of time for mail to reach the United States, please allow a minimum of four weeks before inquiring with our office.
