Nick received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2004. He is returning to complete his doctoral degree after teaching first grade in Chicago Public Schools and receiving his Master’s of Education from the University of Illinois-Chicago. His research interests include the intersection of teacher beliefs and classroom decisions, how teacher beliefs are influenced by school and neighborhood contexts and how beliefs impact how teachers themselves learn to teach. Nick plans to finish his program in 2013.
