Marc Krawitz

Rackham Travel Grant
Marc grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town. Now a Ph.D. student in Mathematics, he studies an area of geometry called Mirror Symmetry, where physics has motivated many deep mathematical conjectures and guides the strategy for studying them. Marc expects to graduate in Summer 2010.
