Joy is currently a Doctoral Candidate in the Industrial & Operations Engineering Department, where she received her Master’s degree in 2005. Before coming to the University of Michigan, Joy acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research interests involve exploring knowledge management and group effectiveness within global virtual teams. She plans to complete her Ph.D. in Summer 2009.
