Rackham Graduate School has funds available to support the efforts of faculty, students, and staff in Rackham graduate programs to recruit prospective students. The goal is to help our graduate departments and programs reach their recruiting goals by increasing the resources available to reach out to prospective and admitted students, and to facilitate travel to recruiting events where you can share with others the programs, initiatives and resources that U-M offers to the graduate community.
A wide range of activities are eligible for this supplemental funding, for example:
- Travel for faculty or current graduate students who will give recruiting talks on other campuses.
- Hosting for prospective students brought in for a weekend on our campus.
- Video podcasts of current student research for broadcast on your program’s website.
See Rackham Circle of Recruitment Toolkit of Promising Practices for additional ideas.
Each graduate program can submit only one funding application for up to $2,500 per application cycle (Spring or Fall). Please note that graduate programs can only be awarded one Rackham Recruitment Grant per year (Spring or Fall).
The application deadline is Wednesday, November 23, 2016, 11:59 PM, Eastern Time
