Rackham is sponsoring a full day workshop for doctoral students in Humanities and Social Sciences to engage in skill and career exploration, gain insight into a variety of career paths, identify their transferable knowledge and skills, and practice communicating these to others.

Workshop Overview

Participants will:

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with alumni
  • Identify desirable skills and expertise
  • Develop skills for effective networking
  • Build professional communities
  • Explore career paths through conversations
  • Develop a better understanding of careers

Registration deadline: June 11

This event is reserved for University of Michigan Ph.D. students.

Space is limited. Upon confirmation, participants will be asked to pay a $10 fee, which helps Rackham defray the cost of the workshop materials and meals. Payment must be received within 24 hours of registration for registration to be complete. If payment is not received registration will be cancelled. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
