Volunteer Day with Ann Arbor Natural Area Preservation

Saturday, November 11, 2017 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Cedar Bend Nature Area, Cedar Bend Dr, Ann Arbor

Join your fellow graduate students and volunteer at this Stewardship Day. Hosted by the Ann Arbor's Natural Area Preservation (NAP). This event is a great way to get involved in your community by taking care of Ann Arbor's natural spaces. We will be helping to cut and remove invasive shrubs such as honeysuckle and buckthorn.

Important information from Ann Arbor NAP: Please dress in long pants thick enough to protect your legs from thorns and other brush, close-toed shoes that can stand up to mud or snow, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Most of our work is mildly labor intensive, so please be prepared to work outdoors for a duration of time and in any weather type (light rain/snow, hot/cold days, etc.). NAP provides light snacks, water, tools, and on-site instruction, so just bring your enthusiasm!

Please RSVP.
