Rackham Graduate Exercises

Earning a graduate degree is a major achievement – one of life’s landmark occasions, a time when graduates, family members, and friends gather to celebrate past and future.

To mark this academic milestone, those receiving master’s or doctoral degrees through the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduates Studies are invited to attend Rackham’s graduation ceremony, Rackham Graduate Exercises (RGE). This formal ceremony celebrates and recognizes all graduate degree recipients.

Earning a graduate degree is a major achievement—one of life’s landmark occasions, a time when graduates, family members, and friends gather to celebrate past and future.

To mark this academic milestone, those receiving master’s or doctoral degrees through the Rackham Graduate School are invited to attend Rackham’s graduation ceremony, Rackham Graduate Exercises (RGE). This formal ceremony celebrates and recognizes all graduate degree recipients.

Please note: In addition to an RSVP via Sessions, the RGE ceremony is ticketed. Eligible graduates will receive an email in April from the Rackham Graduate School with detailed instructions to secure their tickets. Each graduate can request up to two guest tickets when they RSVP to attend the ceremony via Sessions. There will be an option to request additional tickets which will be released closer to the ceremony date. An overflow space at the Modern Languages Building will also be available for additional guests to view the ceremony via a livestream.
