Mark Your Calendars: Summer Institute Symposium on August 7

The Rackham Summer Institute (SI) is wrapping up next week. The program began on June 14 and concludes with the Summer Institute Research Symposium on August 7 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm here in the Rackham Building. Each year this Symposium provides the first opportunity for these new U-M graduate students to take part in a professional conference. Students will give both poster and oral presentations highlighting the research activity they pursued during the summer term.

We are excited to see the start of the work that our new students will embark upon during their time here as graduate students. I hope you will join me in making their culminating activity for SI a positive professional experience.
