We’re hosting a special event just for you at the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm! Save the Date for UMMA After Hours!

All are invited to the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) on Thursday, April 12, from 7-10 p.m. for UMMA After Hours. Attend this free evening event to enjoy four special exhibitions, including work by sound and visual artist Haroon Mirza, renowned experimental theater and video artist Robert Wilson, the historical Fluxus and the Essential Questions of Life, and part two of a "curator's choice" of new acquisitions. Curator conversations in the galleries, live music by Carl Cafagna & Friends Gypsy Jazz, and light refreshments round out the evening. Tonight: Art Night at UMMA

The University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) participated in Art Night for the first time in 2001.The following year UMMA invited Rackham students to help celebrate Art Night with snacks and jazz in the galleries. One of the early years saw over 600 students in the main gallery in the original building. It has always been a festive night and we look forward to continuing the tradition. While the original UMMA facility underwent an extensive expansion and restoration project, UMMA operated a temporary exhibition space called UMMA Off/Site at 1301 South University Avenue from mid-2006 through January 4, 2009.…
