Shana graduated from the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut in May of 2008. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry as well as in Forensic Science. Her research interests lie in organic chemistry as well as chemical biology. The research that she is currently working on involves the study of substrate-mimetic protein kinase inhibitors. She plans to graduate in 2013.
