Andrea Pellegrini is a Ph.D. Student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His research interests are in resilient design and fault modeling, with a special focus on their applications in the system-level architecture domain. This is of particular importance since the extreme scaling of technology is jeopardizing the correctness and lifetime of digital systems. His research leads toward the goal of delivering technology that will allow computers to be cheaper, smaller, and more power efficient, while ensuring that they deliver correct results despite faults. Andrea earned a Laurea Degree Summa cum Laude in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2007. He plans to graduate in 2012.
