Graduate students, faculty and staff take part in the activities of many of Rackham’s interdisciplinary programs. The Rackham Graduate School has a long-standing commitment to the development of innovative interdisciplinary initiatives.
Michigan Meetings
The Rackham Graduate School has a long tradition of supporting interdisciplinary scholarship and conversation. Building on that tradition, the Graduate School, through the establishment of these meetings, seeks to provide a visible and viable venue to address topics of interdisciplinary and global importance.
Interdisciplinary Workshops
The Rackham School of Graduate Studies sponsors an ongoing program of interdisciplinary graduate student and faculty workshops.
Interdisciplinary Seminars & Courses
In an effort to support and encourage interdisciplinary study within the graduate school, Rackham offers courses team-taught by faculty from different disciplines which are designed to bring together students from various fields of study in an effort to spark new ideas, explore new topics, and seed new interdisciplinary research projects.
