Graduate education at the University of Michigan is a shared enterprise. The Rackham Graduate School works together with faculty in the schools and colleges of the University to provide more than 180 graduate degree programs and to sustain a dynamic intellectual climate within which graduate students thrive.
Programs of Study
The Rackham Graduate School works with faculty, students and staff across the University of Michigan to promote excellence in graduate education for over 7,000 students in 103 Ph.D. and 78 master's programs.
Rackham Interdisciplinary Initiatives
Graduate students, faculty and staff take part in the activities of many of Rackham’s interdisciplinary programs. The Rackham Graduate School has a long-standing commitment to the development of innovative interdisciplinary initiatives.
