Associate Dean Peggy McCracken

Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Initiatives

Associate Dean Peggy McCrackenPeggy McCracken serves as the primary liaison between the Graduate School and academic units in humanities and the arts.  She works closely with these programs to assess and promote good practices in graduate education and achieve student success.

Dean McCracken’s specific responsibilities are to:

  • Coordinate all Graduate School activities in Division IV (Humanities and the Arts);
  • Serve as a contact for Rackham on campus and nationally;
  • Promote and support cross-unit partnerships and interdisciplinary efforts and develop new initiatives and programs;
  • Serve as the Rackham liaison to the University Press, the Humanities Institute, the Oberlin-Kalamazoo College-UM Exchange partnership, and the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching.
