Rackham Graduate School's offices are open Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are closed on the following days throughout the year:
- Thanksgiving [Thursday] and the following Friday

Academic Records and Dissertations (OARD) provides information and services to students from their first registration through the final stages of the degree process. OARD staff work with students and with departmental faculty and staff to ensure an accurate record of each student's academic experience. They also assist in the interpretation of Rackham policies relating to the student's record and monitor each student through the degree-granting process.

Graduate Student Success (GSS) works in partnership with faculty and staff in programs and schools across the University to facilitate the academic success and enhance the quality of student life for all graduate students in order to promote an environment in which students can achieve their academic and personal goals. We offer a continuum of innovative programs, services, activities, professional development, and social events that support graduate student academic achievement from the early recruitment stages, during the transition and adjustment to graduate school, through final placement. We provide positive interventions to support and guide students in leading healthy lives, assisting with personal and academic matters affecting academic progress and connecting students to University resources. We also promote the academic and non-academic interests of graduate students throughout the University’s graduate and professional community.
